1 Timothy 5:16-18

[16]Let me remind you again that a widow’s relatives must take care of her and not leave this to the church to do. Then the church can spend its money for the care of widows who are all alone and have nowhere else to turn.

[17]Pastors who do their work well should be paid well and should be highly appreciated, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching.

[18]For the Scriptures say, “Never tie up the mouth of an ox when it is treading out the grain—let him eat as he goes along!” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!”

UNDERSTANDING CHURCH SPENDING

We are blessed by God to be a blessing to his house and to the earth, that's how we salt the earth.

An exciting morning to you, lighthouse family, this morning the mercy and favour of God will speak for you in strategic places.

We have already established that our giving is not to play economics with God as a means to secure his Blessing but rather as an expression of our love for him and in appreciation of his blessings in our lives. So you are already blessed. This blessing is now the source when you get the seed to blessed God's work.

Ministries and churches use these funds (the offerings and financial seeds we give) to pay their staff (full time or part-time), they pay for materials used in spreading the gospel these include airtime for T.V, radio and internet broadcasts, data for online services and meetings, smart or technical devices required for the work, properties for worship and evangelism, they run welfare outreaches to the widows and people in need; they embark on God ordained projects that will help the church or people groups in society and many more.

Unfortunately, It is true that there are those pastors who spend on themselves because of their greed, however the presence of fakes is an evidence that there are originals.

Find ministries that are consistent in teaching the gospel and touching lives one way or the other (either physically or online) and partner with them no matter the size. There is a rise in online Ministries as God is raising those who will leverage on technology to touch the world. Our ministry which is one of such, reaches out to thousands of people all over the world daily with the gospel via WhatsApp, telegram, messenger, Facebook groups, a website and more; soon we are going on radio, television and physical locations. We consume heavy weight data on a daily basis including Sundays. These platforms are ordained to be funded by the people this ministry is sent to that is you and I. God has blessed us and as we release the seed he has put in our hands for his work the blessings increase launching us into abundance.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, today I received your wisdom on how to partner with the work of the ministry to propagate the spread of the gospel on the earth in Jesus name.

Spirit of God open my eyes to see what I have as seed to give to the work of the ministry in Jesus name.

Prophecy

Today, I declare the release your benefits as a child of God in the name of Jesus.

No one is permitted to go hungry in your house, your needs are adequately supplied in Jesus name.

I declare the release of new jobs that will position you as a blessing to your world in Jesus name.

I declare the raise of financial apostles on this platform, men and women, young and old, engrave of God to financially partner with the work of ministry in Jesus name.

You are stepping out of every financial struggle into wealth in the name of Jesus

The favour of God will distinguish you today in Jesus name.

I declare instant healing in your body now, that pain is healed, that tumor is dried up, fibroid is dried up, fever is terminated, you are made whole now in Jesus name.
