Scripture:

2 Corinthians 8:3,7-9

[3]They gave not only what they could afford but far more; and I can testify that they did it because they wanted to and not because of nagging on my part.

[7]You people there are leaders in so many ways—you have so much faith, so many good preachers, so much learning, so much enthusiasm, so much love for us. Now I want you to be leaders also in the spirit of cheerful giving.

[8]I am not giving you an order; I am not saying you must do it, but others are eager for it. This is one way to prove that your love is real, that it goes beyond mere words.

[9]You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus was: though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became so very poor, so that by being poor he could make you rich.

THE SICKLE OF HARVEST

We give thanks not for what is to be done but for what has been done!

A wealthy morning to you Lighthouse family, I want to remind you that your economy is sound no matter what is going on around in Jesus name.

We express gratitude for what has been done. God does not need to be bribed or cajoled with your Thanksgiving to do anything. He has finished his work and has made all you will ever need available for you. The thing is just like you need to sign a cheque or enter a pin with your card before you can access your cash in the bank so there are pin codes to access your abundance in Christ.

I call this the TAKE principles. If you don't know them you will struggle all your life, you will pray for hours and absolutely nothing will happen. It is knowing how to use these TAKE kingdom techniques that actually make you an instant star in the kingdom.

The first TAKE TECHNIQUE IS THANKSGIVING. Thanksgiving is the sickle for your harvest. As stated earlier, you give thanks for what has been done. Paul reveals to us by the Holy Spirit that Jesus lived poor that we might be rich. In the Revelation 5: 12 riches was one of the items the lamb of God was slain for from before the foundation of the world. So I make bold to say God doesn't intend to make you rich, HE HAS ALREADY MADE YOU RICH. The earlier you stop seeing these words as a hype the better. You are already rich, you account is full with all the money you will ever need to live your dream life.

Thanksgiving is recognising what God has done and celebrating him for it. It is accepting that you are rich and celebrating God for the wealth he has giving you. Every time you get thankful it is permission of your thank to be full. If your thank must be full be you must remain thankful.

TAKE ACTION NOW

No matter your present condition financially, or that of your parents, spend time to deliberately thank God for everything he has supplied and picture in your mind that you have everything you will ever need in life. As you do so expect a definite turnaround testimony.
