SCRIPTURE

Romans 8:5-9

[5] Those who let themselves be controlled by their lower natures live only to please themselves, but those who follow after the Holy Spirit find themselves doing those things that please God.

[6] Following after the Holy Spirit leads to life and peace, but following after the old nature leads to death

[7] because the old sinful nature within us is against God. It never did obey God’s laws and it never will.

[8] That’s why those who are still under the control of their old sinful selves, bent on following their old evil desires, can never please God.

[9] But you are not like that. You are controlled by your new nature if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that if anyone doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ living in him, he is not a Christian at all.)

NATURE CONTROLS YOU

Drawing from the little analogy that a lamb thrown into mud will quickly jump out and remain uncomfortable until it is washed clean but a pig in the same situation will rather swim in the mud, it is clear that nature controls every creature on the earth. This is our reality; you act according to your nature. Your greatest responsibility therefore is to nurture your nature if you must enjoy your future.

Paul admonishes that the proof of your new nature is the Spirit of God living within you, influencing you to live Godly (pleasing God in all you do). Now you are not being remote controlled rather you are inspired to think, feel, listen, speak and act right. You consciously decide to do what is right and grace empowers you to follow through. A lot of times we may fall short in doing what is right but the Spirit of God never leaves us because his mission is to help us be our best. Help is only needed by the weak and he is our helper. You have the nature of God in you and that is what controls you. Welcome to your new dimension!

Prayer

Holy Spirit I refuse any kind of struggle in my life, I hand over all my affairs to you; I choose to listen to you and do as you guide me to in Jesus name.

Prophecy

By the light of God in you, I declare you will enjoy supernatural attraction of good things from henceforth like never before in Jesus name.

Every door due to you in this season is declared opened now in Jesus name

I declare your eyes open to see the secret riches around you and hidden treasures within you in Jesus name.
