Light for Life Devotional

Scripture: Genesis 1:1-5(TLB)

1 When God began creating the heavens and the earth,

2 the earth was a shapeless, chaotic mass,* with the Spirit of God brooding over the dark vapors.*

3 Then God said, “Let there be light.” And light appeared.

4-5 And God was pleased with it and divided the light from the darkness. He called the light “daytime,” and the darkness “nighttime.” Together they formed the first day

LIGHT

When your light comes you flight is set.

Good morning Lighthouse family, things are turning in your favour this season.

Once I said you don't need money to live well, you live well to attract money into your life. In essence, what you do determines what you experience.

This story of creation is interesting; first of all there is a picture of chaos and disorder then the Spirit of the Lord begins to brood over the nothingness. Pause, whatever disorder and chaos is going on in your life believe that the spirit of God is already hovering over it, an answer is coming soon.

Then the first thing God said is " let there be light", wait but we didn't see the sun until the fourth day. So what did God create then. The verses that follow say that he called the light "daytime" and the dark "nighttime", the common word here is time. So the first thing God created is time.

Time is the first gift God gave man. Whatever you do with your time influences the worth of your life. You are today what you did yesterday. Whatever you put time into it will produce accordingly.

You can put time into anything and you will get the harvest, it never fails. Whatever you desire just put time into it; put time into building a healthy family, developing financial intelligence, grooming spiritual depth, exercising your body, training your mind for excellence, building solid connection with people and the harvest is sure.

The worse time to have is free time, most times free time is wasted time. To waste time is to waste life, time is life. Give every minute an assignment, achieve something specific with every minute including resting, reading, time with your spouse and kids, play time and so on. What I'm saying is be deliberate with your time.

Your time needs you to invest it so you don't run out of it. You time is your life. Whatever you do with your time is the worth of your life.

Prayer

Spirit of God guide me in investing my time appropriately everyday in Jesus name.

Holy Spirit we pray for all health workers globally, we ask that you will keep them safe and supply all their needs in Jesus name.

Lord at this time position me with ideas that will answer to specific problems in the world I live in Jesus name.

Prophecy

I speak life into your body in Jesus name

I declare the flow of supernatural wisdom in all you set out to do in Jesus name

The oil of favour will begin to attract good things and great people into your life from today in Jesus name.

Every friend or associate that is pulling you down, I pull them out of your life now in the name of Jesus

The way maker will answer for you today in Jesus name

Wherever there has been trouble in your life I speak supernatural peace in the name of Jesus

This global pandemic will bow to you, you will see it end and emerge victorious over it in Jesus name.

My time is productive everyday
