Scripture: Gal. 6:6-10

Galatians 6:6-10

[6]Those who are taught the Word of God should help their teachers by paying them.

[7]Don’t be misled; remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it: a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows!

[8]If he sows to please his own wrong desires, he will be planting seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death; but if he plants the good things of the Spirit, he will reap the everlasting life that the Holy Spirit gives him.

[9]And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up.

[10]That’s why whenever we can we should always be kind to everyone, and especially to our Christian brothers.

KINGDOM RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility is the proof of maturity. A man is known by what he can and is committed to handle.

Good morning Lighthouse family, God is repositioning you for impact, you will not miss your place in Jesus name.

Responsibility is the growth of ability and capacity that comes through engaging your potentials and possessions. Age or marriage is never a determinant for responsibility rather it is identified by growth on capacity to handle issues, institutions and individuals. Every citizen of a country is meant to be responsible for the growth and development of their country.

We display responsibility by playing our role effectively in our occupation. Service is one of the keys of responsibility. When you do your work well or study hard to improve the productivity of the corner where you are, that's responsibility. Responsible citizens are aware that nation or community building is not a preserve for office holders but every person.

Another core responsibility is giving. When we pay our taxes, we contribute funding projects that make our communities better. Now I know there are corrupt leaders everywhere but nevertheless two wrongs don't make right. Your financial contribution to any community you belong to is a responsibility you must not shy away from.

As believers, young or old we are financially responsible for the growth of our spiritual communities i.e. our ministries, churches, groups and organisations whether they are physical or online. These platforms that have in one way or the other helped to equip, encourage and empower us need one form of funding or the other. Paul said we must reciprocate by contributing financially to the growth of these platforms.

Welcome to your season of maturity by responsibility.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, I receive grace to be financially responsible as a kingdom citizen in Jesus name.

Prophecy

I declare as you make up your mind to participate in kingdom building that God will channel resources in your direction in Jesus name.

The rain of favour is flooding your life today in Jesus name

Your struggles with finances are terminated now in Jesus name

Productive ideas are your portion no matter your age in Jesus name.

The capacity necessary for responsibility, receive grace to build it now in Jesus name

I speak open doors into your business and jobs in Jesus name.

The works of your hands are blessed in Jesus name
