Scripture:

Colossians 3:1-5

[1]Since you became alive again, so to speak, when Christ arose from the dead, now set your sights on the rich treasures and joys of heaven where he sits beside God in the place of honor and power.

[2]Let heaven fill your thoughts; don’t spend your time worrying about things down here.

[3]You should have as little desire for this world as a dead person does. Your real life is in heaven with Christ and God.

[4]And when Christ who is our real life comes back again, you will shine with him and share in all his glories.

[5]Away then with sinful, earthly things; deaden the evil desires lurking within you; have nothing to do with sexual sin, impurity, lust, and shameful desires; don’t worship the good things of life, for that is idolatry.

WHERE IS YOUR FOCUS

There is an interesting discovery science has made that had been revealed in scriptures long ago. What you pay attention to gains attraction into your life. That means if anything will multiply in your life, pay attention to it (good or bad).

Studies show that you will fail an exam when you are afraid of failing because unconsciously your are focused on failure. Faith and fear have something in common-focus. One is focused on the negative the other is focused on the positive.

Focus on the positive result you want to see in any area of your life and you will attract the resources, ideas, network of people and direction to make it happen. When your thoughts are filled with Christ you gradually loose sight and taste for dirty habits. What you pay attention to gains attraction into your life.

Prayer

Spirit of God sharpen my focus on what is necessary, help me to set my mental priorities right in Jesus name.

Holy Spirit we ask for souls to be saved through us today, fill us with passion for souls in Jesus name.

Prophecy

I declare today will be a day of good news all the way in Jesus name.

A new door of breakthrough has been opened for you in Jesus name.

I declare by the Spirit of God your understanding is quickened to see the right thing in Jesus name.

Declaration

My focus is on Christ and his finished work.
