Scripture: Colossians 3:1-4 (TLB)

1. Since you became alive again, so to speak, when Christ arose from the dead, now set your sights on the rich treasures and joys of heaven where he sits beside God in the place of honor and power.

2 Let heaven fill your thoughts; don’t spend your time worrying about things down here.

3 You should have as little desire for this world as a dead person does. Your real life is in heaven with Christ and God.

4 And when Christ who is our real life comes back again, you will shine with him and share in all his glories.

CHRIST: OUR REAL LIFE

Nothing is more real than the quality of the supernatural life that we have.

An awesome morning to you in Jesus name.

Your life is a product of perception. Your perception influences your disposition. How do you perceive your life? What makes your being alive worth it? What makes you relevant to this world?

The life we live as born again children of God is the life of Christ. He is our real life. Whatever made Jesus relevant to life automatically makes you relevant. Whoever Christ was to the world is who you are to the world also !

Christ the king and our saviour is living his life through us; you should not struggle to be pure, perfect, prosperous, protected, promoted, progress or preserved. Your life is lived by Christ. Faith in his transforming grace to make you all he has called you to be is key to resting in him as he transforms you from glory to glory.

This faith requires that you stay off worrying and complaining over what you do or don't have, self condemnation and all kinds of fear or doubt of what is possible in your life. Your mind must stay fixed on what he has said concerning you in his word.

You are destined to shine because Christ your real life is living in you and through you!

Prayer

1. Father I rest from every struggle with negative habits, feelings and self condemnation, I receive your life of peace and prosperity in Jesus name.

2. Lord I declare every thought that sponsors self condemnation, worrying, complaining, doubt and fear, such thoughts are brought under the hold of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

3. Spirit of God I receive the full benefits of the Spirit of life in Christ in Jesus name.

Action Step

Meditate on the scriptures of today's devotional and write out qualities of the Christ life you want to see in your life as you pray in tongues.

Today you are walking in confidence because Christ is living his life through you

I declare supernatural favour for you in Jesus name

I declare the flow of fresh favour for you and members of your family today in Jesus name.

Enter into rest in Jesus name.

Your thoughts and decisions are brought under the influence of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Your mind, your body and your soul receives healing now from every pain and breakdown in Jesus name.
