SCRIPTURE: ESTHER 2:15-20(ESV)

When the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his own daughter, to go in to the king, she asked for nothing except what Hegai the king's eunuch, who had charge of the women, advised. Now Esther was winning favor in the eyes of all who saw her. And when Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign, the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she won grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. Then the king gave a great feast for all his officials and servants; it was Esther's feast. He also granted a remission of taxes to the provinces and gave gifts with royal generosity.

Now when the virgins were gathered together the second time, Mordecai was sitting at the king's gate. Esther had not made known her kindred or her people, as Mordecai had commanded her, for Esther obeyed Mordecai just as when she was brought up by him.

STAY ACCOUNTABLE

Submission is the weapon of the wise, it changes weakness into strength; it makes small effective and it renders additions impotent.

Good morning Lighthouse Family, today the rain of heaven will flood your endeavours making you fruitful in the name of Jesus.

Esther was a beautiful young Jew being reared by her older cousin Mordercai, in the days of the Persian captivity. When Esther found favour with the King and was chosen to become the next queen, the choice surprised both her and Mordecai. She would now hold a significant place of influence in the empire, even as a Jewish captive.

She remained accountable to the one who raised her, having learned the law of respect and submission. She still submitted herself for mentoring even after being elevated to the higher echelon in the land. Esther not only respected her cousin but submitted herself for mentoring.

Never run your life on the lonely path. We are not created for independence but inter-dependence on the people God has positioned around us. Have people, matured people who can call you to order and more importantly people who you submit to their authority, those you allow to x-ray your progress and activities. Your mentor is your life’s tutor. When you are accountable progress becomes a task that must be accomplished, success becomes deliberate and life is less stressful.

The devourer always goes after the sheep that strays from the pack. You lose your defense when you are alone. Talk to some about what you are going through. Share your struggles with trusted people, they are always around you if you decide to find them. To close your life to scrutiny in the name of confidence is to head for eminent disaster.

In most cases apart from your mentor or pastor, your spouse or best friend cloud be a good account partner. Be accountable today, have someone you can report or share your progress to on a regular basis; You can reduce your stress, lose taste for draining addictions, live effectively and elongate your life if you subscribe to a solid mentoring or deliberate accountable relationship.

Prayer

Lord I receive grace to remain accountable and submissive to those you have set in places and positions of influence around me in Jesus name

By your grace I receive freedom from every draining habit in Jesus name

Prophecy

I declare today, you are walking into the open doors today in Jesus

Every pain, disease and medical challenge is healed now in the name of Jesus

This week God is bringing out to solutions to every situation in your life in Jesus name.

I declare miracles now as you step out in the name of Jesus

Every struggle is turned into your favour in Jesus name
